Judith L. Schneyer has been Director of the Dutchess County Children's Services Council since mid-2005. Judy has over 22 years experience in rural and urban community development, including a focus on youth and family issues. Nineteen of those years were here in the Hudson Valley, working for Cornell University and Cooperative Extension.
Through her work with many Dutchess communities, Judy’s expertise includes project development & management, leadership development, fund development, grant management and public relations. Prior to coming to the Hudson Valley, Judy worked with North Dakota ranchers, farmers and state government on environmental and agricultural policies and issues.
Lori Baxter joined the Children's Services Council in the Spring of 2008. She brings a diverse range of public relations and community experience that includes youth marketing. For the past four years, Lori worked as supportive case manager with Mental Health America. Lori has a BA in Communications, and is pursing her Masters degree in clinical social work. She is committed to the health and well-being of children and their families. She is also a former volunteer for Free Arts for Abused Children.
